AR Foundations E-Learning
OVERVIEW & RESPONSIBILITIES
AR Foundations — an AR Design E-Learning Course
This was a 5 month-long project where I structured, managed, and designed an Augmented Reality (AR) design course for XReality Academy (XA), an e-learning platform. My team included myself, 4 designers, and XA’s CEO.
My responsibilities throughout this project ranged from project management, curriculum development, and visual design; this case study highlights my accomplishments throughout the project from start to launch.
CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT & PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Restructuring to jumpstart course creation
I started the project with a concept and an early rough draft. Using my background in education, I developed the AR design curriculum by restructuring the entire concept to optimize the learning experience. I next organized course materials, composed instructional documents, and developed a systematic approach for my team.

Visual Design
VISUAL DESIGN & BRANDING
Designing a style guide for e-learning content
Based on XA’s UI style guide, I created new style guides for course materials. My goal was to differentiate educational content from marketing materials to create distinct associations. The branding for our course content is light, friendly, and encouraging. In total, my team and I created over 30 graphics and 8 slide decks for students.

This deck is lighter, playful, and approachable for students. I merged XA’s blue and purple colors with friendly assets.
Infographics
Team members used my style guide and instructions to create uniform infographics for each learning unit. This task was a priority so that students could process information visually and follow along more easily

Clicking on a unit will move students into the module’s internal coursework. Students can view and collapse the coursework sections on the left.
In this introductory module, students will view Welcome slides, course instructions, and learn about their final capstone project.
My objective here was to create a welcoming, user-friendly experience.
